Why did you become a DJ?
First of all, I love music, I love to use music to have people have a great time and create a great atmosphere according to the type of event.

What’s important to you about working at Sight & Sound Events?
It gives me a great opportunity to be out of my comfort zone and explore all kind of events, while earning more experience, meeting more people and playing at all kinds of venues.

What’s your favorite song to hear/play at a party and why?
If it's a Latin party: Definitely "La Chona". La Chona is a song that everybody loves to dance and brings people to the dancefloor regardless of their musical taste. If it's an English music event I go with "Dancing Queen". It's a song that can bring people from all ages to the dance floor.

What general advice would you give a couple preparing for their wedding?
Before the wedding date communicate and let all your professional crew know what you have on mind for the event, once on the event, trust on your professionals and just enjoy your day/night.

What should every couple know before meeting with their wedding DJ?
Type of music they'd like for the event, for dinner time and for actual party time. Have a special song in mind for your first dance.

What has been your most memorable event thus far?
In 10+ years I've had lots of great events, but probably one of the most memorable ones was a wedding I did DJ like 3 years ago, it was 200 people, and every single person was so happy and excited. I played all kinds of music and they were singing and dancing on the dance floor and by their tables, they had a great great time and so did I.

Describe your DJ style?
I mix in live. I don't really use a playlist. I go by the flow. Give me 10/15 songs you like, and I'll be creating a vibe. I love to explore and see how the crowd reacts to certain underrated songs.

How do you know when you’re doing a good job?
When the crowd is either lip-synching or actually dancing the songs I'm playing.

How would others describe you?
Team worker, easy going, open to advice.
