02Jan Throwback Thursday: It All Started Like This
Sight & Sound Events is excited to kick off our new blog called THROWBACK THURSDAY. Once a month we’ll go into our vault and share an old photograph of a past event and track down the people to see where they are today. So we’re kicking it off with how it all began for us , Sight & Sound! This photo is our original advertisement. I remember handing these out at our first Bridal Spectacular show in 1995!
Sight & Sound Events started out as a husband and wife DJ and video company in late 1994 in spare bedroom of our home. Pat and I were the only DJs that the company booked back then. We had an amazing talented team of videographers too who would always capture the events we worked at. Like today it is the perfect combination of DJ and Video for your wedding or event. Our calendar filled up quickly.
There was a lot of demand for our style/brand of interactive and fun entertainment so we added more DJs to our company. Pat held production meetings where we personally trained each DJ (we continue that to this day). Photography was added later, because our clients demanded it. We moved from the bedroom to a 25,000 square foot warehouse.
Fast Forward to 2K14
Sight & Sound Events continues to raise the bar on event services in Las Vegas. Last year we added wedding coordination services into our company. We are seeing demand for our monogram projection and lighting design. Our ‘Weddings Done Right Radio’ on iTunes leads the pack on educating engaged couples around the world on how to plan a wedding.
As we celebrate our 20th year in business we will continue to think outside the box on unique ideas, move forward with technology, personalize events and attend the industry conferences so we can make your event FUNTASTIC!
