On the dance floor!

On the dance floor!

Funtastic Friday and it’s about the dance moves.  Here’s an email I received from one of my clients wanting to do something different…

Dear Jodi,

I’ve been to weddings where guests have done the Electric Slide, Macarena and Cha-Cha Slide, but I want to do something different at my wedding.  What can you suggest?   – Dancing Queen

Hey Dancing Queen, lots of great funtastic ideas on dances that are unique!  I suggest instead of the old school electric slide, we bring back the 70’s disco classic, the Hustle!  Guests young and those who are older (like your parents age) will love it!  A great group dance that would replace the traditional ‘Electric Slide’.

My other choice would be The Nae Nae instead of the Cha-Cha Slide! There’s a hot new song by Silento called ‘Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)’.   Here’s the music video with the dance moves!

What will bring these dances to another level by getting guests to participate is having a dancer who can walk your guests through the dances and lead the guests too!  Doing something that is different is definitely going to make your wedding one that is unique and different.
