JOB DESCRIPTION

The position requires that you manage the flow of the events (Coordinate Timeline), make announcements (Emcee), mix the music (DJ), and ensure everybody is having a great time at our events.

WHO IS RIGHT FOR THIS POSITION?

  • Great personality is a must. Although, we do have people that simply spin and don't talk, there is a lot less work for someone with that skill set.

  • You must be open minded and accept the training given. Regardless of how you learned to do things in the past you must be willing to do it a different way.

  • Over-the-top people skills is very important. We are often judged more by how we treat the clients, guests, and venue staff than our performance alone.

  • Strong Work Ethic! Whining and complaining is not allowed. You must be able to do your job, over and above expectations, all with a smile on your face.

  • Upwardly mobile. You must have a valid drivers licence and reliable transportation.

  • Flexible schedule. You must be available nights and weekends.

  • Strong. You will be moving lots of equipment, so you must be able to lift 50-75lbs.

TRAINING WILL INCLUDE:

  • Master of Ceremonies. Making announcements, crowd interaction etc.

  • Music mixing and control the dance floor.

  • Timeline management and flow of the events.

  • Equipment setup and troubleshooting.

  • Event and venue etiquette

  • Training in all other areas is available to the more ambitious
